So today in church I started thinking...next year I'm turning sixteen years old... O.O This year, on December 30, I'm turning fifteen, so that means that yes, my sixteenth birthday is next year. That's insane! I just cannot picture myself on the road...or dating. ;) I talked about this with my parents today. I demand a Sweet Sixteen. ;) But apparently the nicest car I'm going to be getting is a Ford Festiva...a USED Ford Festiva. What kind and loving parents I have. ;) Then my mother(she cracks me up) said that we are going to paint it hot pink and get a bumper sticker that says, "Watch out, Michaela's coming!" Wow. Valentines Day Dance

Today was Bennion Junior High School's Valentines Day Dance! I went with this really nice guy I like named Colton...we slow danced to a few songs and my friends forced us to kiss. :O Haha, he's very sweet though. ;) I've been grounded from Facebook for three months in case anyone has been trying to get a hold of me through there. Anyways, this week at my school we have had Spirit Week. On Monday we dressed up as our favorite character off of a movie, on Tuesday we dressed up in black and white, Wednesday was disguise day, today was formal day, and tomorrow is relax day. New Moon

For all of you Twilight fans out there, GO SEE NEW MOON. I saw it with my favorite cousin Maddie, my sister Michawn, my mom, and my aunt. We all loved it! To me, personally, I liked this one better than Twilight, considering the whole thing wasn't tinted blue the whole time ;) That was on Friday that I saw it.

The next very fun thing that I did on the same day was go to my best friend Jeanne's 14th birthday party. I only stayed there for about 45 minutes, but it still was very fun in that amount of time.

After that, I headed over to my best friend Madi's house, and slept over. We hardly got any sleep. Isn't that the whole point in sleepovers, though? (:

Corn Maze...two.

The corn maze was shoo much fun! It was kinda scary but with all of my friends there, it made it really fun (: again, if you live in Utah, I highly recommend going! It is down in Thanksgiving Point and the place I went to for the corn mazes and a lot of other things is called Cornbelly's. There is a haunted corn maze, a normal corn maze that is shaped like Larry H. Miller, a playground, bull riding, a pyramid of pumpkins, a monster that you go into, and many other things! It costs about $20. I had a fun time, so I know you will!

My friend Peter said that he has been to this corn maze before and that it is fun but very scary. Today is a very sad day. A day of mourning. Even though it has been eight years since the incident in New York City, it is still very depressing for me. Many died without having any warning. Well, I got my cavity filled. It hurts very badly right now but I'm sure it will get better. They numbed my mouth, gave me laughing gas, and gave me a shot in my mouth. That laughing gas made me laugh at the stupidest things. It also made me see things. First, I was seeing the ceiling spinning. Then I saw myself falling into a deep hole, and in that hole I met a bird that sounded like a monkey. Is that weird? I'm going to the Kelly Clarkson concert tonight! I PROMISE I'll take pictures and if I don't then call me a liar! LOL!

You know how you have to go to the dentist every 6 months? I went today and it SUCKED. First, I found out that I apparently don't floss very good. Than I found out that I would need to get braces in about a month. And THEN I swallowed the floride and it made me want to puke. But the worst part was that I found out that I have a cavity and I have to get a filling this Wednsday... STUPID DENTIST!!!

The heartbreak necklace, designed by Tjep for Chi ha paura...?, is made up a a fragile porcelain heart and an attached titanium hammer with which to break the heart. The heart is not as fragile as it might seem. It is easily cracked but will not break completely thanks to a layer of rubber behind the porcelain. This is meant to signify that "one will usually recover from a broken heart, the small cracks will inevitably add up and form who we are". (Found through MoCo Loco)

If you are all about the edge pieces when it comes to squares, then this pan is for you. The Baker's Edge pan has Pac-Man style maze walls so that every piece gets the crispy sides of an edge piece. Personally, I'm a fan of the middle pieces (unless it involves icing, and them I'm all about the egdes). Either way, this pan is undeniably a good idea. (Found through Reluct)

Alright, I'm filing this one under brilliant pet products. It's a super cute window through your fence, meant to give your confined dog (cat/child/whatever) a view of the rest of the world. The Pet Peek is a 9.5" half sphere window designed to give your dog a full view of whatever going on on the other side of the fence, reducing barking and curious digging. I think it would make my day to walk by somebody's house and see their space cadet dog peeking out through this perfectly head shaped window. Love it! The Puma Glow Rider is the next rev of the Puma Bike, available this spring. The bike is part of Puma's Urban Mobility collection, focusing on products for young city dwellers. Similar to previous versions of the bike, the Glow Rider has several urban-centric features such as a built in auto-destruct lock and a semi-fold frame for transporting on buses or subways. Ha! If someone served me a drink with denture shaped ice cubes in it... it would totally make my day! I can understand how people would find these ice cubes a little disturbing, but personally I think they are brilliantly hilarious. The Frozen Smiles ice tray is one of Jason Amendolara's witty designs for Fred. (Found through Pan-Dan).

Lots of people use honey to sweeten their coffee or tea. It's a nice healthy option to sugar, but it's a sticky, messy, pain in the butt. Honibe has created these convenient solid honey drops made out of 100% pure honey. This is such a good idea. (Found through Apartment Therapy).

I'm head over heals (spelling error intended) for the folks over at Help. Their product offering is pretty simple. It consists of two products: Acetaminophen tablets entitled 'Help I Have a Headache' (Ha!) and band aids entitled 'Help I've Cut Myself' (Haha!). Their product line alone totally had me sold on the company... but there's more. They also try to be socially responsible. All of their packaging is made out of 100% recycled molded paper pulp and manufactured in the US by a factory that helps adults with learning disabilities. They also have a sense of humor. You can order customized 'Help I...' t-shirts on their website, where you fill in the blank with whatever tickles your funny bone. One of the simple joys of childhood is eating soft boiled eggs with soldiers. Only, I never had an egg with SOLDIERS! What kid (or grownup for that matter) wouldn't love this Egg Soldier EggCup by designer Reiko Kaneko. (Found through MoCo Loco).

Mmmm, I love peanut butter. Everyone who loves peanut butter knows how much it sucks to get to the bottom of the jar (and not just because you are out of PB). Even if you are a talented scraper, the bottom of the jar is hard to get to, especially without getting peanut butter all over your hand or knife (or spoon if you are so inclined). Anyway... Sherwood Forlee has solved all of my problems with this Easy PB&J Jar. It includes the simple but brilliant improvement, both ends open to easily access the bottom of the jar.

OK so I know I haven't posted anything for a while. Things have just been so hectic and I've been really busy with homework AND I've been trying to figure out what I'm doing on Halloween. As you all know, that's in five days!!! It goes by so fast, doesn't it??? Oh last Thursday in Anime Club we learned all about the types of eyes and the Art President asked us to draw the kind of eyes we draw, and then she told us what kind of eyes they were. We also had a party. We ate cookies and ice cream and we watched a cheesy Anime Show. (Speaking of which, throughout the entire show me and my best friend Jeanne couldn't stop LOLing!!!) Hey so my cousins, my aunt and uncle are visiting from all the way from BOSTON! They're leaving tomorrow morning to go back though so yeah... They've been here for about two weeks now..
